Performing Arts Department

The Performing Arts Department unifies the theatre and music credit programs with the performing arts opportunities for youth and community members. The department attracts and serves students with various levels of interest, experience, and talent in the performing arts.

With its 400-seat performance hall, multiple studios, two scene shops, and private lesson rooms, the Shook Theatre Building is home to our theatre and music classes, as well as numerous performances and concerts throughout the year.

Whether you are a young artist at the beginning of your artistic journey, a college student looking to pursue a degree or advanced training in the performing arts, or a community member who has found the arts as a fulfilling part of your life, the Performing Arts Department has a way for you to be involved!

Interested in music? You may want to explore our Musical Ensembles and Concerts, including choir, band, opera, and orchestra. Credit and non-credit options are available.
