The Center for Healthy Living at the Dardenne Creek Camppus is home to SCC's nursing and healthcare programs. The space is an innovative learning environment that expands access to higher education and professional and career development for students, businesses, and our community.
Healthcare Programs
Programs include Nursing, Certified Nursing Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Surgical Technology, Medical Billing and Coding, and Patient Care Technicians.
Field to Table Institute
Also located on the Dardenne Creek Campus, the Field to Table Institute brings together culinary, agriculture and healthcare, teaching the concept of going directly from the field to the table, and the connection between farming, food, healthcare, and quality of life. In addition to credit programs, the Field to Table Institute also offers community-based clourses in cooking and healthy living.
Partnerships
To meet regional needs, our efforts to train, develop and advance the workforce are based on enhancing the relationships we have with business and industry thoughout our service area. Partnerships with healthcare providers help students jump start careers. A partnership with a local school district allows high school students to start the Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
