Delivery Methods
What is a Delivery Method or Modality?
A delivery method (sometimes called a modality) is the way your class is taught and
how you’ll participate in it. It tells you whether you’ll be learning online, in-person,
or a mix of both so you can pick the style that fits you.
You do all your work online—no need to come to campus. You can work at your own pace, but you’ll still have deadlines.
Online courses will be designated by an N in front of section number, such as ACT-101-N01.
You’ll have some classes in-person and some online. It’s a mix, so you get the best of both worlds.
Hybrid courses will be designated by an H in front of the section number, such as ACT-115-H40.
You go to class on campus in a classroom at scheduled times. All learning happens face-to-face.
In-Person or face to face courses will have NO letters in front of the section number, such as BIO-105-01.
You choose how you want to attend each session—either in-person in a classroom with your instructor or with your instructor remotely (video call). The instructor will always be in a classroom at a set time, and you pick what works for you.
Flex courses will be designated by an F in front of the section number, such as CAD-102-F82.
Classes happen remotely at specific times, through video calls. You’ll join live sessions but don’t have to come to campus.
Remote courses will be designated by an R in front of the section number, such as CPM-250-R01.
