will help you develop a broad skill base to prepare you for an engaging career.
SCC’s Industrial Trades programs teach students in-demand skills to prepare them for
careers in a variety of industry and service sectors. All students complete core foundation
courses in computer hardware/software applications, math, science, CAD, and electronics.
You’ll also complete specialized courses related to your area of interest.
Graduates will be prepared to work as entry-level technicians and can apply their
course credits to future degrees. Students already employed in technical fields can
build additional skills in these programs to advance in their career.

At SCC You Will:
- Develop the knowledge and skills needed for entry-level facilities maintenance positions,
including those in electronics, hydraulics & pneumatics, HVAC motors & controls, maintenance
awareness.
- Learn how to adhere to maintenance safety practices.
- Learn to perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations
to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and/or the structure of a building in good
repair.
