Learn at SCC’s new Regional Workforce Innovation Center in Wentzville

 

Learn the fundamentals of this essential industry, from residential plumbing installation and repairs to municipal wastewater treatment systems. You’ll learn the skills you need to help maintain critical infrastructure in homes and in the community. 

SCC’s Industrial Trades programs teach students in-demand skills to prepare them for careers in a variety of industry and service sectors. All students complete core foundation courses in computer hardware/software applications, math, science, CAD, and electronics.

You’ll also complete specialized courses related to your area of interest.

Graduates will be prepared to work as entry-level technicians and can apply their course credits to future degrees. Students already employed in technical fields can build additional skills in these programs to advance in their career.

At SCC, You Will:

  • Install plumbing fixtures and handle other entry-level tasks.
  • Determine the materials and equipment needed for a job.
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing systems.
