There aren’t enough skilled professionals to meet the demand in Media and Web Production fields (Web Designers and Developers, Web Video and Graphic Editors, Web Application Programmers and Social Media Marketers). The U.S. Labor Department predicts that employment of Web developers is projected to grow faster than the average for all occupations from 2019 - 2029. Demand will be driven by the growing popularity of mobile devices and e-commerce.

Learn the skills to become a Web designer or multimedia specialist. Our program will prepare you for a variety of exciting, high-paying careers. You will learn the necessary skills sought by potential employers. We offer both a degree and certificates to meet your needs whether you are a high school student, returning learner or updating your skill set.

Transferring Credits to a Four-Year Program?

The four-year program of your choice always has the final say. SCC students find, however, that general education credits transfer quite successfully. The courses specific to this SCC degree/certificate are most often completely transferable as well, although some transfer as electives.
