SCC’s Mechanical Contractor program trains students in the installation, maintenance,
and repair of mechanical systems. You’ll learn to service residential, commercial,
and industrial systems, ensuring code-compliance and performing preventative maintenance.
SCC’s Industrial Trades programs teach students in-demand skills to prepare them for
careers in a variety of industry and service sectors. All students complete core foundation
courses in computer hardware/software applications, math, science, CAD, and electronics.
You’ll also complete specialized courses related to your area of interest.
Graduates will be prepared to work as entry-level technicians and can apply their
course credits to future degrees. Students already employed in technical fields can
build additional skills in these programs to advance in their career.
