Events & Fundraisers
SCC's greatest champions and most tireless supporters are devoted to a future and legacy our community can be proud of.
Join us in 2017!
You are invited to bring your friends and family out to support a great cause – your community and your community college. The proceeds from the events will benefit both the Cottleville-Weldon Spring Chamber of Commerce and the SCC Foundation, providing much-needed scholarships as well as academic and program enhancements for the college.
Each event includes over a dozen food trucks and up to 50 vendors, with a family movie beginning at dusk.
Our first Trunktoberfest will feature trick-or-treating, kid friendly activities, food trucks and an outdoor movie, "Hocus Pocus." The event will run 4 - 8 p.m. in the Red Parking Lot at St. Charles Community College. The movie will be shown at sundown on the lawn outside of the Technology Building.
All trick-or-treating and activities will be provided by SCC Student Activities. Come and enjoy! This is not an event where you bring your own vehicle, decorations and candy.
Trunktoberfest will serve as a makeup event for CHOMP, which was cancelled on Friday, May 19, due to severe weather.
Outdoor Summer Movie Series
Friday, June 23: "Moana"
Friday, July 21: "Smurfs, The Lost Village"
Friday, Aug. 25: "Captain Underpants"
Friday, Sept. 22: "Despicable Me 3"
Leading the events is our volunteer planning committee, chaired by Don Kalicak, Mercy Vice President for Regional Development. Board members from both the SCC Foundation and the CWS Chamber work simultaneously to make these events successful.

We are ready to tee off again in support of education! The 21st annual Presidents Classic Golf Scramble will be held Monday, September 25 at Old Hickory Golf Club, St. Peters. This year’s tournament will feature 18 holes as a four-person scramble, two flights, and additional competitions throughout the course, lunch and an appetizer buffet following the tournament. All proceeds from the scramble support student scholarships, as well as academic and program enhancements for the college.
Richard Jensen of RX Systems, Inc. and Chuck Pilliod of Krey Distributing Company are this year’s volunteer committee co-chairs. SCC Foundation events are successful because members of our community volunteer their time, talents, and abilities to support our mission.
If you would like more information about how to get involved as a sponsor, a volunteer, or a team, please contact our office for details.
