Field to Table Institute Hosts National Culinary Competition
The St. Louis Chefs de Cuisine, the local chapter of The American Culinary Federation, hosted a sanctioned competition at SCC’s Field to Table Institute. The Fall Chefs de Cuisine Food Show and Chef of the Year Competition was held Sept. 10.
A celebration of the St. Louis Chefs de Cuisine’s 100th anniversary, the competition included student chefs from St. Louis and Kansas City competing for their first-ever culinary ‘throwdown’ food challenge. The judges were ACF officials from Kentucky, Kansas City, Ohio and Texas.
