SCC is Your Place to ROAR!
When it comes to starting college and selecting a degree you might have a few questions. We are here to help you get started at Cougar ROAR (Registration, Orientation, Advising, and Resources).
Cougar ROAR is the time you'll work with campus experts to register for SCC college courses, prepare for your first semester, and meet other SCC students! ROAR is a one-day experience over the summer for new SCC students starting classes in Fall 2024 - classes begin in August. More information about orientation will be sent out in March.
Parent/Family members: Family members are welcome to join students (limit is 2 family members per student). During this time we will be working directly with the student to answer questions and help them prepare for getting started in their courses. We will be hosting sessions specifically for family members about Financial Aid, degree programs, and supporting your student at SCC.
