The men’s team placed eighth overall at the 2024 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships held in Utica, New York, in May. 
 
Chase Vickery took home top honors in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.86 seconds. Vickery also earned a silver medal in the men’s 4x100m, along with teammates Zach Bristol, Zack McGee, and Charles Young. Bristol earned a second medal in the men’s 400m event, where he placed third. Young took fourth place in the men’s 100m. Sergio Darabcsek, SCC’s first-ever pole vaulter, took fifth place in the competition with a mark of 3.93m, a personal best. 
 
SCC team captain Katie Majors, the sole representative of the women’s team, earned a bronze medal in the women’s high jump, finished seventh in the long jump, and also competed in the 100m event. 
 
David Almany took the coaching position at the start of the season, with only six athletes. He already has 38 athletes signed up for the 2024-25 season, and is aiming for a slate of 50.
