A ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, marked the completion of construction on St. Charles Community College's Department of Public Safety Building.

The building was made possible thanks to the support of voters for Proposition Community College in August of 2020, and in partnership with the campus housing developer.

The 2,400 square foot building is near the west entrance of the main campus in Cottleville. It will provide a more visible and accessible location for safety services on campus.

Speakers at the event were SCC Chief of Police Bob Ronkoski, SCC President Dr. Barbara Kavalier, and SCC Board of Trustees President Shirley Lohmar.
