The St. Charles Community College Foundation invites guests to “Be Transformed” at its gala and auction at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 18, at the Ameristar Conference Center in St. Charles. The evening will help support scholarships and enhancements to classrooms.
The black-tie-optional event will bring the community together to help students get the college education they need to prepare for universities or for meaningful careers.
At the event, guests can expect delectable food and drinks, live and silent auction items, raffles and an inspiring and informative program about the college, its extraordinary programs and the students who benefit every day.
Scott Liebel, SCC foundation board president and long-time supporter, is the event chair. Mike Elam will emcee.
“We are excited to bring back a mission-centered event that is enjoyable for supporters and focused on raising funds for education,” said Liebel. “We'd love for everyone to join us as we get dressed up and have a fabulous evening with friends while supporting a great cause.”
Just as beautiful butterflies are transformed, event organizers of the Be Transformed Gala and Auction hope guests will experience what it feels like to “be transformed” when they help others.
