“Suffragist”
Before 1920, women did not have the right to vote in the U.S. The Women's Suffragist Movement fought for women to have this right, which resulted in the passing of the 19th Amendment. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, we encourage you to join us for an in-depth look into the history of the Women's Suffragist Movement. This lecture will emphasize the persistent struggle throughout U.S. history to secure voting rights for all American women.
