Join St. Charles Community College for a choral event featuring our Chamber Choir and SCC Singers, conducted by Ken Tucker and Becky Thorn. The highlight of this event is the combined choir and chamber orchestra performance of the Faure Requiem. While exploring thematic ideas of what “Heaven” means to each of us, this concert will include a variety of musical styles and composers.
The concert will be held on two different dates: at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at Grace United Church of Christ located at 8326 Mexico Road.
This event is free and open to the public.
Our spring ensemble concerts are dedicated with love and remembrance to Gene C. Ditch II, SCC professor emeritus (1954-2019).
