St. Charles Community College will host the annual Adult Education & Literacy Student Recognition Ceremony from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, June 6, in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building auditorium.

Students who earned their High School Equivalency (HSE) certificate this year will be recognized. In addition, outstanding English as a Second Language (ESL) students will be honored for various achievements - including becoming United States citizens.

The ceremony will feature two student speakers: Wallapa Greenburg (ESL) and Ashley Duvall (HSE).

Representatives from the SCC Foundation and the Daughters of the American Revolution will be awarding scholarships to select students.
