The St. Charles Community College Foundation, SCC Student Activities and Cottleville-Weldon Spring Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to host the eighth annual Food Truck Frolic at St. Charles Community College at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville. Entrance to the event, movies and music are free and open to the public. Food trucks charge menu prices.

Back by popular demand, Food Truck Frolic will be held in the college's Red Parking Lot from 5-8:30 p.m. in conjunction with the movie series. Movies will be shown at sundown on Fridays on the Campus Plaza. Free visitor parking is available in the Red Parking Lot at the SCC South Entrance, located on Cottleville Parkway, and the Orange Parking Lot at the SCC North Entrance, located on Mid Rivers Mall Drive.   

“We hope you'll bring your friends and family and have some fun while supporting your community and community college,” said Peggy Schnardthorst, SCC development and foundation relations manager. 

The Food Truck Frolic will occur 5-8:30 p.m. June 21, July 19, Aug. 23 and Sept. 20, however entertainment times vary. Music will be played 5:30-8:30 p.m. Movies begin at sundown.

Movies and music are subject to change. 

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Free popcorn will be provided, and snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. The rain location is the College Center gymnasium, accessible from the Yellow Parking Lot near the campus Southwest Entrance.

When the summer movie series ends, be sure to join us 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, for our third annual Trunktoberfest. This fun, free Halloween event will have trick-or-treating, kid-friendly activities, food trucks and an outdoor screening of a Halloween film starting at sundown on Campus Plaza.
