Young People's Theatre will hold open auditions for Some Enchanted Evening © - The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building theater on the St. Charles Community College campus. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville. 

Auditions are open for youth ages, 8 to 19, and will consist of a song and a dance combination that will be taught. Some students may be asked to a sing a solo. Students auditioning should wear comfortable clothes and shoes they can dance in - no flip flops. For more information on auditioning, visit stchas.edu/ypt.   

Those auditioning must be accompanied by an adult. To be cast, students must either have had Introductory Theatre Workshop I or concurrently enroll in that class in addition to being in the production.   

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Oct. 12-13, and 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 13-14. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at stchastickets.com or by calling 636-922-8233.
