St. Charles Community College will display the finest examples of student artwork created in SCC art classes during the 2017-18 school year at the Juried Student Art Exhibition April 16-29. All types of media will be represented including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, 2D design, printmaking, graphic design and ceramics.
This year's juror is artist and educator Andrew Brandmeyer. Andrew is a painter with an MFA from Fontbonne University. He currently teaches at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
The SCC Juried Student Art Exhibition runs from April 16-29. The opening reception is from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 16. Awards will be presented at 7 p.m. at the opening reception. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
Gallery hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is located in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building. Parking for patrons is free in the campus Blue and Yellow lots.
