Rick Ankiel, former Cardinals baseball player, has been announced as the keynote speaker at St. Charles Community College's Drug and Alcohol Awareness Week. The event will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, in the SSB auditorium. It is free and open to the public. 

The college is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in Cottleville. Free parking is available to guests in the Yellow and Purple Parking Lots, which are accessible through the West and Southwest entrances off of Cottleville Parkway. 

Copies of Rick's book, “The Phenomenon,” will be available for purchase and a book signing will be held at the end of the event. No additional autographs will be available.
