St. Charles Community College is offering a new 12-week CNA Apprenticeship program that will allow students to work while they learn. Tuition and books for the program are free for qualified apprentices through a Department of Labor Grant.

Program requirements include: Valid work authorization, ability to attend every class during the 12-week session (one day a week), family care safety registry screening, two-step Tuberculosis test, current flu vaccine and satisfactory urine drug screening. There are both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

An informational meet and greet for the program will be held from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, at One Academy Place in Dardenne Prairie.
