St. Charles Community College will display artworks by Mark Weber and his son Matt Weber at the Weber: Father & Son exhibition. Mark Weber's paintings deal with objects evolving from one direction to another. Found objects are introduced as metaphors for this evolution. Matt Weber's photographs of industrial plants are photographed at night with a 4x5” view camera. The stark black and white tonality offers a sense of timelessness while accentuating the eerie effect the structures exhibit.

Weber: Father & Son runs from Aug. 28-Sept. 21. An opening reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

The gallery hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. The gallery is located in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building. Parking for patrons is free in the campus Blue and Yellow lots.
