Young People's Theatre will hold open auditions for Disney's The Little Mermaid from noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, in the Daniel J. Conoyer Social Sciences Building auditorium on the St. Charles Community College campus. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville. 

Auditions are open to ages 8 to 19 and will consist of a dance that will be taught, followed by a song that will be taught and a cold reading from the script. A 1-2 minute cutting of a Broadway repertoire song should be prepared and brought in with an accompaniment CD or MP3 track. Children auditioning should wear comfortable clothes and shoes and must be accompanied by an adult. Callbacks will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Friday, March 17, and Friday, March 24; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, March 18, and Saturday, March 25; and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 19, and Sunday, March 26. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at stchastickets.com or by calling 636-922-8233.
