File and Floyd are Women's and Men's Overall Winners in the 10K Race

More runners and walkers registered than ever before for That '80s Run, held on April 30 at St. Charles Community College. The events were part of the college's 24th annual run that drew area residents for a morning of health, fitness and family recreation. The race's theme brought out runners decked in ‘80s gear.

“From start to finish, this health and wellness event was about as colorful as it gets. Not only was it great to see families taking part, it was awesome to have so many runners get into the spirit of our 1980s theme,” said Heather McDorman, race director and vice president for enrollment and marketing services at the college.  “It's gratifying to see people of all ages and ability levels participate in the run events, as well as have the opportunity to visit booths from a variety of local exhibitors.”
