The Multicultural Programming Committee of St. Charles Community College will host the fall semester edition of “Between the Covers” Book Club for faculty, staff and students starting Sept. 28. There will be three meetings which conclude in November.
“Having an SCC-wide book club promotes reading, unique conversations and camaraderie on campus,” said Mandi Smith, SCC student activities manager. “It's been such a positive experience so far. We really have created a little book-loving community, and I'm excited to watch it continue to grow.”
Meetings will take place at 2:30 p.m. in the Learning Resource Center Information Commons at the dates listed below, unless otherwise noted. There will be refreshments and giveaways at each meeting.
