The Glass Menagerie is a poignant story, set in the late 1930s, of an aging southern belle and her family trapped in a world of illusions, stifled dreams and quiet desperation. This classic play by Tennessee Williams, who lived in St. Louis, is based on his own life and experiences and is credited with being the play that launched his successful career.
