“The goal of the College Fair is to offer a convenient, one-stop shop of colleges and universities both in- and out-of-state for students and their families,” said Mary Jo Grimm, student outreach coordinator at SCC. “And I think we've accomplished that.”
Representatives from more than 100 colleges, universities and technical schools will assist prospective students with the college selection process. The U.S. Air Force Academy will also be present, and the Missouri Department of Higher Education will be distributing financial aid information.
Admission is free. Many handouts, catalogs and other helpful information will be available to help high school juniors and seniors with their college search. Representatives will also help current SCC students with their transfer process.
