“We want to give our students a chance to take refresher courses for personal computing classes they've already taken,” Kathy Stearns, continuing education program specialist. “We understand how hard it is to remember everything from those classes.”
The SCC Continuing Education Department offers personal computing classes for all ages that teach the basics and beyond. The classes offered include training on QuickBooks, Adobe programs (Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop), Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Publisher), as well as more basic classes, such as “Beginner's Guide to Computers,” “Computer Tutoring” and “Going Google.”
Class start dates, times, number of sessions and costs vary. For more information on personal computing classes, class schedules and costs, or to register, visit stchas.edu/learnforlife or call 636-922-8233.
