SCC is the fourth largest of 12 community college districts in Missouri. Serving nearly 12,000 students during the 2010-11 school year, the college is celebrating 25 years of providing higher educational excellence to the region. In St. Charles County, SCC is the choice of approximately one in four high school graduates. SCC offers 24 transfer programs, 45 career-technical programs, a variety of workforce training and life-long learning opportunities for personal and professional fulfillment.
The Economic Development Roundtable is a standing committee of the Economic Development Center (EDC) of St. Charles County with the local cities, St. Charles County Government and the St. Charles County Department of Workforce Development. Each month a different company in St. Charles County is selected for the Business Spotlight Award based on criteria such as investment, economic impact, job growth, civic involvement and entrepreneurial success.
