The TEAMVision review was a recommendation that came out of the college's most recent Self Study process for re-accreditation. College President Ron Chesbrough commissioned the work group to look at ways to improve the advisory model. Recommendations were presented to Dr. Chesbrough, the Cabinet and the TEAMVision Advisory Group in May.
“The work of this group is paying great dividends,” said Chesbrough. “Already the PAT has tackled several submissions, both holdovers from last spring and new ideas. The team has been engaged, diligent and thoughtful in their discussions.”
The primary differences between the TEAMVision and PAT-College Council models consist of a greater cross-campus membership, including more full-time faculty and the addition of adjunct faculty, with a mixture of appointed and elected positions. Next, the president serves as the chair of the PAT. Also new is a College Council coordinator who assists with communications, training and support of the College Council task forces and committees, as needed.
