Morhaim is currently the new business production manager and creative studio supervisor at Ogilvy and Mather, an advertising firm in New York City, where he's worked for more than 20 years.

“This lecture will be an enlightening experience for students interested in art,” said Brian Smith, SCC professor of art and coordinator of the event. “David has so much professional experience - students in the Midwest don't get a chance to meet and talk to people like him very often.”

Smith went to school with Morhaim at Boston University, and they've remained in touch ever since. In 2003, Morhaim gave Smith and the SCC Art Club a tour of Ogilvy and Mather on their trip to New York City.

Morhaim also does freelance graphic design work and children's book writing and illustrating. He is a self-proclaimed illustrator, photographer, muralist, graphic designer and writer. Morhaim graduated from The School of Visual Arts in New York City with a fine arts degree.
