Music
Get out and listen in on what’s been happening with SCC’s music program which is made up of college students and faculty, community residents and high school students. Enjoy our 400-seat performance hall located in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building. And if listening isn't enough, consider joining one of our Music Ensembles or taking private music lessons.

Free Music Performances
All concerts are free and open to the public, no reservations are required. Please view the Music Events below for details.
If the campus must be closed due to inclement weather or some other unforeseen incident, a performance scheduled during the closure will also be canceled.

Music Ensembles
You may join one of the SCC Music Ensembles as a credit or non-credit student. To register as a credit student, register as you would normally for classes. Please use this link to register for an ensemble as a non-credit student Music Ensembles at SCC
Private Lessons
Music Private Lessons are offered to community members and SCC non-performing arts majors. Find additional information at www.stchas.edu/privatelessons.
If you are a performing arts (music, theatre) major at SCC, and you need to enroll for credit, please register through the normal course registration process.

Details: Student Recitals feature single performances on songs our students are working on in their private music lessons. Recitals often showcase vocalists, as well as instrumentalists, and a variety of literature is performed - Classical, Jazz, Music Theater, and more.

Details: Join the students of our Musical Theatre Practicum class for an hour-long performance of fully staged and costumed scenes from some of your favorite shows.

Details: A camp designed for enthusiastic instrumental students, grades 7 and older, to learn more about jazz style, improvisation, and performance.
