Our free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes
High School Equivalency
Our free High School Equivalency (HSE) classes teach basic reading, math and writing skills, to prepare people to take the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) or to improve basic academic skills for college readiness or career advancement. Free day and evening classes are available.
Students must be at least 17 years of age and not enrolled in secondary school. For more information, see HSE class times and class sites, or call St. Charles Community College at 636-922-8411 or email smugler@stchas.edu.
PLEASE NOTE: As of January 2, 2014, the test of High School Equivalency offered in Missouri is the HiSET. To learn more about the HiSET or to schedule a test, go to hiset.ets.org.
