St. Charles Community College is proud to be accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). In November 2021, SCC looks forward to a comprehensive evaluation to ensure we are meeting the HLC Criteria for Accreditation.
During the visit, a team of peer reviewers from HLC will conduct a comprehensive evaluation to confirm SCC continues to meet the Criteria for Accreditation, is pursuing institutional improvement and complies with requirements sets by the U.S. Department of Education allowing students to access Title IV funds.
During the HLC visit, faculty and staff are welcome to attend open forums to share
feedback with the peer reviewers. Additionally, SCC is encouraging the campus community
to read SCC's Assurance Argument, which will be made available in October 2021.
SCC has been hard at work preparing for the visit.
