To ensure continued safety of students, faculty and staff, St. Charles Community College will deliver the summer semester remotely only.

“Our dedicated academic deans and program chairs are working diligently to ensure that the summer schedule of classes will be as full as that in any other summer,” said Barbara Kavalier, Ph.D., college president. “Student services like admissions, financial aid and advising will continue to be offered remotely.”

Registration for summer classes begins April 13. The summer semester begins June 1 and concludes July 27.

“Our faculty and staff remain committed to student success - for spring and this summer,” said Kavalier. “I am humbled by the resilience and fortitude shown by the SCC community as we navigate the challenges presented by the COVID-19 outbreak.”

The decision as to when faculty, staff and visitors will return to campuses will be made separately. College leadership will make that decision based on guidance from the CDC and state and local health departments.
