Missouri Humanities Council Gives SCC Grant

The Missouri Humanities Council (MHC) awarded St. Charles Community College a $1,975 grant to support the project “Missouri Visiting Writers Series.” The MHC is the only state-wide agency in Missouri devoted exclusively to humanities education for citizens of all ages. The council has served as a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities since 1971.

The Missouri Visiting Writers Series includes campus visits by three Missouri writers: Meagan Cass, Jamie D'Agostino and Allison Coffelt. They will each speak with two creative writing classes and will give public readings of their work.
