Learning and having fun will go hand-in-hand this summer at St. Charles Community College's College for All Kids (CfAK) camps. The College for All Kids summer camps are now enrolling for more than 100 academic enrichment and sports camps to be held June 5-Aug. 4, for children ages 5-14. STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) camps are an area of specialty.

From Woodworking to Coding, 3D Printing to Movie Making, Masterchef Cooking to Broadway Musical camps and LEGO Robotics Engineering to Creative Chemistry, kids and teens will find something to inspire and motivate them at SCC.

“Each camp explores a topic in depth,” said Amy Fitzwilliam, SCC program specialist. “It is important for us to keep pursuing students' interests with fresh, new camps and returning favorites. We hope to be able to spark a student's enthusiasm in new topics and open their eyes to new possibilities in learning and areas of interest.”

This year, CfAK has a co-sponsorship with St. Charles Parks and Recreation and Inventor Forge. Science rocks will be held at Quail Ridge Park and 3D Printing and Woodworking will be held at Inventor Forge at the EDC Building in Cottleville. App Attack, Advanced 3D Video Game with Unity, Python Programmers and Code Your Own Adventure camps will be held at St. Charles Community College - Dardenne Creek campus.

College for All Kids summer camps are committed to ensuring child safety. The camp provides a 10:1 safe ratio of students per staff member. All staff have background checks and attend training workshops. Camp assistants all have CPR, First-Aid and Epi-Pen training.
