As quickly as the news spread about the closure of all ITT campuses nationwide, St. Charles Community College has organized planning sessions for these displaced students.

On Sept. 15 and Sept. 20, SCC will offer former ITT students the opportunity to learn about SCC programs that align with ITT programs, information about financial aid, and more. Fees for the application for admission for these students will be waived, college officials said.

Sessions will be held at 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on both Thursday, Sept. 15, and Tuesday, Sept. 20, in Room 205 in the Student Center on campus. SCC is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville. To register for a session, students should visit www.stchas.edu/ittstudent.

In comparison to local proprietary college tuition and other public four-year universities, SCC's tuition of $98 per credit hour (in-district), is up to one-third the cost. The college offers free tutoring, some 50+ clubs and student organizations, and plenty of on-campus activities.

Former ITT students who cannot attend an informational session may fill out the online form found at www.stchas.edu/ittstudent.
