Director Lynne Snyder will hold open auditions Tuesday-Thursday, May 20-22, in the theater of the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building on the SCC campus in Cottleville. Center Stage Theatre invites SCC students and community residents to audition.
Vocal and acting auditions will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, May 20-21, dance auditions will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 22, and callbacks will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 22.
Those who audition should bring sheet music and be prepared to sing 16 bars of a Broadway-style show tune. Auditions will also consist of reading from the script.
“Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” is an energetic musical based on the 1988 film featuring a battle of two competing con men living on the French Riviera that will keep the audience laughing, humming and guessing to the end.
There are roles for three men and three women, with a versatile chorus who will take on smaller roles.
The performances will be held in the theater of the Fine Arts Building Tuesday-Sunday, July 22-27.
