Lovan is a cashier at St. Charles Community College and was nominated by her supervisor Patricia Haynes, director of bookstore and food services.
As part of her nomination letter, Haynes said, “There are several important character traits for individuals who serve others. Teresa has them all! She shares her passions and talents for serving others with her gifts of kindheartedness, honesty, a helping initiative, hard work, guidance and performs all of these traits with humility. I have witnessed on many occasions, Teresa's positive interactions with students, staff and community visitors.”
