Each day of “ESL 199: Study of U.S. Community and Culture” will focus on a different aspect of American culture:

  • Getting help when needed (medical care and emergency services)
  • Health and wellness
  • Community resources
  • Social etiquette
  • Work and school expectations
  • What to do for fun

Students taking the course for credit may be required to complete assignments/assessments for successful completion. Tuition starts at $95 (depending on residency and visa status) for one hour of credit or $60 for the non-credit option. The course runs from 9 a.m. to noon each day in Room 214 in the Humanities Building (HUM) at SCC.
