The certificate includes skills training in safety, quality and measurement principles, manufacturing processes, and maintenance awareness. Flexible lab and classroom opportunities allow local participants to earn industry-recognized credentials that validate their skills in current manufacturing processes.
This opportunity is available to both entry-level and current employees who want to improve their skill level.
Grant funding is available to qualified candidates. This program is sponsored through the MoManufacturingWINS grant and serves Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) individuals, the unemployed, the underemployed, the low-skilled and qualified individuals who want to train for careers in manufacturing.
Program support specialists are available to help students succeed with the program application, training and career goals. Students will also learn lessons in problem solving, decision-making, teamwork, training and work practices.
There are both day and evening classes offered.
