Carlie and Doni are best friends who met in 2005 at Los Angeles Community College. Soon into their education, they realized that college was not for them and dropped out. Carlie moved in with Doni and throughout the next two years, they attended a variety of actor training classes such as improvisation, cold reading, commercial classes, scene study and more. They did not care for these classes either, so they decided to start writing silly songs and sketches on their own time. In 2007, Carlie's mom convinced them to sign them up for open mic at the Comedy Store. They weren't sure how their act would go over, but it went better than expected and they have spent the last four years improving and expanding on their act. They were voted Best Comedians in L.A. for 2011 by Los Angeles Magazine.
