Students may choose from general education classes like Art Appreciation, American Government and U.S. History. Some Intermediate Algebra classes are also available, as well as fitness classes like Yoga and Pilates.

Spring “late-start” classes begin Feb. 11 and are 12 weeks in length. Spring “second eight-week” classes begin March 18 and are eight weeks in length.

“The classes give students alternative options to reach their education goals in a shorter amount of time,” said Chris Breitmeyer, vice president for academic and student affairs.

Some classes are available in lecture format and some are available through distance learning, including telecourse (available as DVDs/videos), online or hybrid (online study in addition to on-campus study/blended) classes.
