“College for All Kids camps are educationally based and give students a chance to experience life on a college campus,” said Amy Fitzwilliam, SCC project coordinator. “They are designed to stimulate curiosity and motivate kids to achieve their highest potential. Half- and full-day camps are available, along with before- and after-care programs.”

SCC employee Wendy Brown has had her daughter Skylar enrolled in camps for the past six years. “Skylar especially loved Project Runway and thought it was so cool to come to college,” said Brown. “It's a great way for kids to experience new interests and learn something new while thinking about college, too.”

Young children, ages 4-5, will act and dance in Shining Stars Theater Camp or learn to make flubber in Kinder Science Camp. Other camps include Princess Ballet and Tap, Spanish for Tots, Lions, Tigers and Bears Animal Camp and Circus Fun.

Students may also join the CSI SCC team to sniff out forgeries and find missing clues. This year students will experience a mock trial and find out what it takes to deliver the verdict.  In the new Bogey, Birdie and Par Camp participants may become the next golf star or win the cupcake challenge in Cupcake Wars.
