Class sizes are limited to 15 students and taught by experienced SCC instructors. Costs of each class varies, although multi-child discounts are available. Subjects are age appropriate and will be organized by age group.

“Taking a homeschool class is an excellent way to bridge learning at home to learning in the classroom,” said Amy Fitzwilliam, program assistant for SCC's Continuing Education Department.

Classes to be offered in January include Performing Arts, Art Creations, Earth Science, Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Cooking, Fitness, Crime Scene Investigation, Suzuki Music, Private Instrumental and Vocal Lessons, Beginning Tap Dance, Spanish, Public Speaking, Sewing, Tom Sawyer Living History, Geology, Electricity: The Mysterious Force, Space Exploration and more.

SCC Continuing Education will host a parent advisory board meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, in Rooms 205-206 of the Student Center on SCC's campus, to discuss the Homeschool Enrichment program.
