The SCC Board of Trustees Scholarship Program is designed to attract students who
have demonstrated an academic ability, fine arts ability, or have unmet financial
needs. Recent high school and GED graduates, home schooled, and current SCC students
may apply. A total of 108 Trustee Scholarships are available. Criteria for the Trustee
Scholarship Program can be found at https://www.stchas.edu/community-resources/giving-to-scc. Applications can be picked up outside the Foundation Office in the Administration
Building, Room 1119, or in Enrollment Services, Administration Building, Room 1113.
The SCC Foundation is the official fund raising and private gift-receiving agency
for the college. Chartered as a non-profit corporation for education purposes, the
Foundation solicits and receives tax-deductible gifts and manages these gifts and
bequests for the benefit of the college.
The SCC Foundation Board of Directors is composed of concerned community leaders from
businesses, service agencies and institutions. Directors take an active role in fund
raising, and they dedicate a portion of those funds for scholarship opportunities
to SCC students.
