The show will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, March 19-20 and March 26-27, and at 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, March 20-21 and March 27-28. Tickets are $8 general admission and $7 for children and seniors. The campus is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville.
 
This “tale as old as time” is based on the animated Disney feature. Set in a lovely French town, this musical tells the story of Belle, who must give up her own freedom to save her father from a horrible beast and enchanted castle. While living in the castle, Belle comes to know, understand and eventually fall in love with the Beast, who is the victim of a spell cast many years earlier. Audiences will be captivated by the enchanting tale, complete with new songs in addition to favorites from the classic animated movie.

Cast members from St. Peters include: Cadence Bippen, Carlin Bippen, Bailey Blessing, Jennifer Brown, Nicole Cuneo, Mallory Degenhardt, Jenni Fischer, Thomas Fischer, Luke Gottreu, Allie Hammond, Jessica Kahn, Leah Koclanes, Lauren Lamey, Connor Larabee, Gillian Pendel, Jordan Wofford and Rachel York.  Cast members from St. Charles include Zac Cary, Rachel Eikmann, Annie Gardner, Charlie Gardner, Ali Gibbs, Kelly Gleeson, Sean Gundersen, Danielle Hughes, Kayla Kochan, Emma Koehler, Daniel Maasen, James Maasen, Aurielle Macchi, Amelia Martin, Laura Modglin, Ashlyn Sappington, Abby Turner, Emily Turner and Cidney Woodson.  Members of the cast from O'Fallon include Margaret Borgmeyer, Emily Feldt, Jacob Feldt, Taryn Herbst, Grayson Jostes, Becca Krauss, Annie Marion, Ali Pinkerton, Katie Scheffer, Patricia Villegas and Brooke Villhard.  Cast members from Dardenne Prairie include Troyer Coultas, Claire Troxell and Emma Troxell.  Additional cast members include Evan Fornachon and Nate Bassman of Maryland Heights, Ben Stanley of Cottleville and Sarah Engelskirchen of Wentzville.
 
The play is based on the book by Linda Woolverton. Music was written by Alan Menken, with additional lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice.
 
The Young People's Theatre is a performing arts program by kids and their families for kids and their families produced by the SCC Corporate and Community Development Division with support from Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
