The show will be performed at 8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, Nov. 17-20 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21. There will be a matinee performance for high school students at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18.
In this absurdist comedy, a young Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso meet in The Lapin Agile, a Parisian café, in 1904. These two geniuses, along with several quirky bystanders, discuss art and science, fame and fortune, the 20th century's achievements and future prospects. A surprise visitor from the future also makes an appearance at the café.
The play will be directed by Lynne Snyder. The production staff includes Allison Summers, stage manager; Lonna Wilke, set and lighting design; and Deborah Phillips, costume design.
Cast members from St. Peters include: Toby Gastler as Charles Dabernow Schmendiman, Becky Loughridge as Suzanne and Chris Parker as a visitor.
Cast members from St. Charles include: Samantha Bonomo as the Countess/female admirer, Andrew Carter as Sagot and Justin Spurgeon as Freddy.
Cast members from O'Fallon include: Gena Cardinale as Germaine and Jordan Loeffelman as Pablo Picasso.
Other cast members include: Paul Luft, of Woodson Terrace, as Gaston, and Nathan Daugherty, of St. Louis, as Albert Einstein.
