2022 Student Awards Announced

SCC celebrated student achievement at the annual Student Awards Banquet. The event honors outstanding students in the classroom and in leadership roles on campus.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate individuals they have witnessed accomplishing extraordinary things around campus.

Max Greenwood received the President’s Rising Star Award and Scholarship, for exemplifying leadership in work, both on and off campus. Max is a student in our Agriculture program. He is graduating and will transfer to Southwest Missouri State after completing an internship with Bayer this summer.

Aniyah Sy received the Maria Espinoza Presidential Leadership Award and Scholarship, for outstanding contributions to our campus community. The award is named in honor of Maria Espinoza, the Phi Theta Kappa president from SCC, who passed away in January 2015.
